P&V Assurances is one of the top six Belgian insurance global companies. As part of strong growth strategy and subsequent to the recent acquisition of the insurer ING Insurance S.A., P&V Assurances has choosen Visual Scope to optimise its holding and subsidiary governance.
Due to rapid expansion, P&V Assurances needs a robust solution to manage an increasing number of entities and a complex broker network.
"As Visual Scope centralises all entity and subsidiary governance data, including individuals, corporate officership and mandates, it offers a global view of the Group structure and provides clear information about company officers, in compliance with current regulations," explains Françoise Manette, Legal adviser at P&V Assurances.
The solution's rich functionalities and ergonomic features were also decisive in choosing Visual Scope: simplified searches, configurable organisational structure diagram, historical data browsing capacity, ease of use, etc.
As a former user of Cosmos, the Group wanted to migrate its legacy data quickly and securely to the new system.
"EQUITY's experience in data migration was also a key point for P&V Assurances," states Yves Garagnon, Managing Director of EQUITY.
With this new client, EQUITY is extending its client base in the Benelux countries, where Visual Scope is already used by Dexia, Delhaize, RTL Group, Electrabel and Arcelor Mittal Luxembourg.
Established 100 years ago, P&V Assurances is today the sixth largest insurance group in Belgium, following the acquisition of the Brokerage and Employee Benefits activities of ING Insurance S.A. The company differentiates itself from its competitors through a multi-brand and multi-channel product distribution strategy. P&V Assurances products are distributed through exclusive P&V agents, and non-life products are sold through agents of Hamburg-Mannheimer Consulting. Products by VIVIUM, Piette & Partners and Arces (specialist in Legal Protection) are sold by brokers. Actel products are sold directly, mainly by Internet and car dealers. In the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Group operates on the local market through P&V Luxembourg and on the FPS (free provision of services) European market through Euresa-Life.
For over 10 years, EQUITY has provided software solutions for entity management and subsidiary governance requirements. Visual Scope is EQUITY's flagship product, it provides executive officers and heads of legal, accounting and finance departments with centralised data for greater visibility and control of their group structure.
